Clay Bishop Water Rescue & Safety Fund

Posted by mvfcsec on October 5, 2012 at 6:10 PM

This fund was established by the family of Clay Bishop, Woodcock Valley Bible Church, and the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company after the recent drowning of Clay and dedicated to all who have lost their life due to drowning at Raystown Lake. The first purpose of the fund is to purchase a VideoRay Camera System with sonar and smart tether which was instrumental in finding Clay. Estimate cost $136,000.00. After the camera is purchased, the wish is to continue the fund to provide equipment and training to local dive teams and to provide water safety education to the general public.

Donations can be made to the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company, 15205 Raystown Rd, P.O. Box 446 James Creek, PA 16657.  Please put Clay Bishop Fund or Underwater Camera in the memo line on the check.
